Well, we are in the second week of a new year, and I hope you have broken free of lame resolutions and weak promises which have no weight, serve only to discourage and help you feel more like a failure. So why would a coach say such things…is it not what I am supposed to be doing? No not really, New Year’s resolutions are usually about the “shoulds”. I should loose weight, I should save more, I should be nicer to my neighbours. As you can imagine, these “should” promises are broken, usually before groundhog day. So what is the answer? Simple, what do you really really want? when do you want it by?and what smaller action steps can you break the big goal into? And lastly, what might you have to postpone or give up so that you can focus on that goal. It is not easy, but it is simple. Till we chat again,]]>
