Many people are afraid of goal setting because they feel they may have to share their goals with others. I offer Zig Ziglar’s thoughts on this; If it is a go up goal, i.e. things that will make you better off, tell only people who you trust, and preferably those with goals themselves., i.e. stuff you want to quit, lose weight, stop smoking etc. tell the world. People will hold you accountable, really.
I have said it before, the best place to share your goals is a master mind group (Google Napoleon Hill)
If the people you share with are not positive about your objectives, even after you listen to their objections and perhaps learn and build from them, decide if you may need to drop them from your sharing list.
