How old will you be if you spent the next five years working on a worthy and personally meaningful goal?
Even more importantly, how old will you be in five years if you don’t?
Do you see my point? Going for it makes more sense than not going for it!
Here are three goal achievements that are common in our culture
Buy and run a national restaurant franchise.
Perfect: now you need between $650,000 and $1,000,000 and five years to see if you were right.
Obtain an advanced degree at a recognized University. If you enjoy the journey and are a studious type, again, all you need is $100,000, five years, self-promotion skills and a little luck, or learn to say, like the previous option, “Do you want fries with that?”
Join and take seriously a network marketing company where you believe in the product, the people, and the tangible benefits that the product delivers. Now, what do you need to make it work? A starter kit, usually $200 to $500, an understanding of what you would need to do (and maybe what you may have to put aside) to get to the goals and levels of achievement that you desire, including a clear mental picture of what the result looks like.
What else do you need?
- Be willing to like and work with a team, up line, down line it doesn’t matter.
- Commit to the time and schedule changes that you believe will let you get the results, even before you are good at it. Fail forward!
- Get it on paper, share it with an accountably partner, see it happening.
- Then just live out the plan!
So, what products or services do you want to recommend? The choices are almost more than you can imagine.
I currently have three clients who are leaders, and are committed to building an executive income and growing a team, who have all asked me the “whom do you know?” question.
So what do they promote?
I have one man who represents a wellness nutrition company who is convinced (with some interesting research, by the way) that how we feel, mentally and emotionally is based on what we eat. The medical community refers to this as “gut health” The saying “I have a gut feeling about this” might be more than a metaphor. Also, filling up our medicine cabinets with pills to counter the side effects of other pills, maybe it is time for a fresh look.
Another client is working on weight loss, looking and feeling better, without drugs. Hasn’t the Covid 20 (extra pounds) affected many of us?
The third client makes a middle management income selling and training others to promote kitchenware, tools, and affordable appliances. Just meeting her, it is so easy to be attracted to her energy and vitality that she makes every home party feel like Thanksgiving dinner!
So why am I pointing this out? These people believe in the power of coaching! I believe in them and you enough to offer up to three months of free coaching just for hearing them out. By the way, three months of coaching is a $300 service. As well, my regular clients assure me that is a good value.
So, what does this look like? It starts with a free discovery call where you let me know what you want, what might be stopping you, and what the next step/s might be. If it is not for you, no harm, no foul, and you have invested less time than watching an episode of NCIS or Grey’s Anatomy.
Give me a call: 613.387.2727 or send me a note.
You didn’t mention a crazy businessman/politician who at 65 decided another challenge of helping people experience the peace of God in nature is worth it!
